Pricing, answered plainly

Every number on this site comes from the same rate sheet the crew quotes from.

For everything beyond pricing - packing, licenses, seasickness, tipping - see the full FAQ and the what to bring checklist.

Is the price per person or per boat?

Per boat. Every charter is private, so the price covers your whole group up to the trip's guest limit: 6 guests on a normal captain-and-crew charter, or up to 12 when a larger group runs under a bareboat charter structure.

What is included in the price?

The yacht, captain and crew on captained charters. Fishing trips include tackle, bait and gear. Bareboat charters are the vessel only - no captain or crew is included; your group selects, hires and pays a qualified independent captain directly. Add-ons like catering and fish processing are priced in your written quote.

Why do some prices say From?

Those are starting-at rates. Fuel, season and permits can adjust the final number, so the crew confirms your exact quote in writing before anything is booked. The only added fee is a 3% card processing fee, disclosed before you pay.

What is the cancellation policy?

The 50% deposit is nonrefundable. If a customer pays in full and cancels more than 14 days before the charter, we refund 50% of the total charter price. Cancellations within 14 days are nonrefundable. Trips booked within 14 days of the charter date are payable in full at booking and nonrefundable. If Bluebill or the captain cancels because of unsafe weather, mechanical problems or another operational issue, the customer can reschedule or receive a full refund.

How does confirmation work?

Pick a trip, a date and your group size, then book: a 50% deposit reserves your date and the remaining balance is due 14 days before your trip (you can also pay in full at booking). The crew confirms your trip within 24 hours. Card payments include a 3% processing fee, shown before you pay.

Do I need a fishing license?

For the Islands Trip, Mexican fishing licenses and FMM permits are required and not included in the trip price; they are added to the final trip cost. The crew walks you through exactly what is needed.
